She shoots him down

she wakes up with the sun beaming to her eye
a heat cluttered stuck to her brain
spinning her head to unmemory
brink of blindness unsustained

digging back from her yesterday
forcing to remember what words were said
still nothing - as far as she can see
from the ten thousand scenes that twisted

a sudden spring of image clicked to her
from going back and forth and rewind
a shadow that made her laugh but not smile
is this the one?

she didn’t care where he’s been
and don’t care what he plans to do
a fool’s numbness sprouted and lingered
as they both let the day pass too

she waited for that moment that never came
and all her patience came burning
so time has sent the signal to halt
and she knows he always had it coming..

If you are familiar or a regular visitor to my other blog, Twisted Thoughts… you’d notice some changes there. I have joined a couple of Photo Groups, aside from my regular Illo Friday entries.

This weekend, I am left alone (online that is) and even though I am advised *.* not to face the pc all day, I thought - ok, I’ll face the pc all night then! hihi

It’s Holy week in the PH (and other Catholics around the world celebrate this), and it’s “Fasting and Abstinence” for all. Meaning - avoid worldly pleasures. The hardcore Catholics literally avoid just food and erm (sex). Is that what they only consider pleasurable? pff…

Well one pleasure of mine is being infront of the pc. (includes writing, painting, editing photos, and having those intellectual conversations late into the night) So since the most important “pleasure” is sacrificed this weekend, I might as well do the others. hihi - its painting, writing and editing ok! tssk…

I was kinda expecting an “Easter” topic or maybe bunnies lol. well easter for me is a new beginning. So i kinda made a poem for that. Well, anyway let’s see what my illo would look like, maybe I can still use that poem.

Aside from the little, and bloody step by step changes here at Dry the Rain (notice the disclaimer image?) hmm hmm… im so proud of my latest contribution at (Entry No. 183) that my creative energies decided to rest and pass the opportunity to make another illo to be posted here. Maybe im just drained! haha… Although I noticed tho that after ten entries using only MS Paint, one can improve drastically sometimes (i think) lol!

i should be off to comp school now.. but something inside is preventing me … is it the rain outside? the cold outside? or within?

last night i drew an illustration intended for and i was so proud of it. Waiting all morning (erm 12 midnight til 6am ~ pathetic huh?) for a particular person to notice. Almost falling off to sleep on my keyboards… but nope i just couldnt sleep without having to discuss what it meant to him.

6 am struct! (well, in this side of the world that is) i decided to go to bed… but PING! slsk’s blue bird suddenly blinks! A message! Yeah, he’s online now.. he saw my posty… but then again High Fidelity is gonna be shown on the telly any minute now.. (not that i have anything against this film - i actually own a DVD of it) but hmm.. ok.. since he havent seen it yet.. i pushed him to watch it! and to take note of John Cusack’s hair when he was in college.. hehehe…

So whats wrong one may ask… i dunno.. i just need some attention i guess.

This week’s topic at is Aging. Strangely, i seem to have a different interpretation of this word. Aging for me is not only being physically old but how one grows up to be more mature.

There are people who, no matter what their age, seemed to enjoy themselves and act jolly like a child, while others act as if they have the world on their shoulders which make them look older than they really are. Others tho, take things too immaturely while others take things too seriously. This may be the spice in life for them, and not for some.

But its your decision whether or not you remain to be the same old person all these years, or take the plunge.. be crazy and dive into the water like a child! Isn’t it that we only have one life? Would you waste it and wait for nothing when you can instead do something?
